Mar 31-Apr 1, 2007 Liberty Bell Classic, Philadelphia, PA
The CPJC Junior Team was lead by Christopher Grunberg who finished 2nd place. Andrew Stone had a great tournament and finished 3rd. Two beginners stepped it up an brought home 3rd place finishes as well (Brendan and Mitchell Calloway). They were joined by Nicholas Dantzler, Wesley Dantzler, Gabbi Denu, Mikey Denu, Ricky Denu, Misha Grunberg, and Patrick Nagle. The Senior Team was made up of Maria Brogan, Misha Grunberg, Gabbi Denu, and Matt Mah. Congratulations to Mike and Anne Marie Grunberg who received the Morris Parent Award for being outstanding parents in their support of the sport of judo.

Jan 13, 2007 Shufu Referee Clinic, Beltsville, MD
8 members of the CPJC team attended the Shufu Referee Clinic. Karl Tamai, Matt Mah, John Gunnar, Mike Grunberg, Anne Marie Grunberg, Daniel Grunberg, Misha Grunberg, and Christopher Grunberg.

Jan 14, 2007 Starrrett Open, Brooklyn, NY
The CPJC team was lead by Christopher Grunberg and Misha Grunberg who both brought home first place finishes. Andrew Stone(2nd & 3rd) and Yariv Bar-or (2nd) joined Christopher and Misha on the junior team. Mike Brown (2nd), Maria Brogan (3rd), Amber Massey (3rd), and Daniel Grunberg (4th) made up our senior team. Sensei Karl did a great job refereeing.

Feb 3, 2007 Shufu Open, College Park, MD
The CPJC junior team won the Junior Team Title at the Shufu Open. The team was lead by Michael Denu, Yariv Baror, Christopher Grunberg, Victor Azevedo, Patrick Nagle, and Nicholas Dantzler who all brought home first place finishes. Brendan Calloway, David Stanton, Duane Stanton, Roland St. Michael, Sheryl St. Michael, Brooke St. Lewis, Matt St. Lewis, Mateo Rodriguez, Ricky Denu, and Wesley Dantzler were all contributing team members who helped us finish first place. The Senior Team was lead by Maria Brogan who was our only senior champion. She was joined by Marcus Daniels, Mischa Grunberg, Daniel Grunberg, Matt Mah, and Carlos Rodriguez.

Feb 24, 2007 Virginia State Championships, Arlington, VA
The CPJC Junior Team was lead by Andrew Stone (two first place finishes), Victor Azevedo, and Sheryl St. Micheal who all came home as tournament champions. They were joined by Yariv Baror, Iftach Baror, Christopher Grunberg, Nicholas Dantzler, Wesley Dantzler, Roland St. Michael, Sheryl St. Michael, Brooke St. Lewis, and Matt St. Lewis. The junior team came in 3rd place in team points behind Arlington and San Sal Jo Judo. The Senior Team was lead by Maria Brogan who came in first. The Senior Team was made up of Maria, Matt Mah, and Mischa Grunberg.
